See the odyssey of Lewis and Clark on The Odyssey Theatre's giant four-story screen. Narrated by Jeff Bridges, this film takes you with Lewis and Clark to explore the uncharted lands of the Louisiana Purchase and beyond.

Museum of Westward Expansion
Discover what it was like for Lewis and Clark to explore lands where buffalo and Native Americans ruled. See how mountain men lived.   The museum is home to rare Indian Peace Medals, survival weapons and an actual tepee.

Historic Old Courthouse
Built in 1828, the Old Courthouse takes you back to the time when slaves, Dred and Harriet Scott, pleaded with the court for their freedom.  In the 1870’s it was here that women such as Virginia Minor petitioned for their right to vote. You can also learn about the history of St. Louis through the exhibit galleries or by participating in a mock trial in our restored courtroom. 

"A Legacy of Courage: Dred Scott and the Quest for Freedom" 
Don’t miss the exciting new exhibit which details the story of Dred Scott, a Missouri slave who sued his owners for his freedom. “A Legacy of Courage: Dred Scott and the Quest for Freedom,” commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Dred Scott decision in the actual courthouse where the Dred Scott case was originally tried.
