Privacy Policy PRIVACY POLICY, TERMS AND CONDITIONS By accessing and browsing the Gateway Arch, Gateway Arch Riverboats and The Riverfront Gateway Web sites ("Sites") of the Bi-State Development Agency (the "Agency") you accept without limitation or qualification the terms and conditions, as set forth herein. PRIVACY POLICY We collect no personal information about you when you visit our Site(s) unless you choose to provide this information to us. However, we collect and store certain system and information about your computer automatically. What We Collect and Store Automatically If you do nothing during your visit but browse through the Web site, read pages, or download information, we will gather and store certain information about your visit automatically. This information does not identify you personally. We automatically collect and store only the following information about your visit: The Internet domain (for example, "xcompany.com" if you use a private Internet access account, or "yourschool.edu" if you connect from a university's domain) and IP address (an IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the Web) from which you access our Site(s)
We use the information we collect to count the number and type of visitors to the different pages on our site, and to help us make our Site(s) more useful to visitors like you. Submission of Personal Information You may choose to provide us with personal information, as in entering a contest or submitting a question or comment via the Internet. We use the information to improve our service to you or to respond to your request. Sometimes we forward your e-mail to other Agency employees or authorized personnel who may be better able to help you. Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, we do not share our e-mail with any other outside organizations unless otherwise noted in contest rules. Collection of Data for Online Shopping To purchase tickets or products online, we require your name, e-mail address, credit card number, and credit card expiration date. This information is required for us to process and fill your order. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. We do not share any personally identifying data about our customers with anyone outside of The Agency. As an option, we ask to have your mailing address. Occasionally, we may use the information to notify you of important functionality changes to our Sites, our services and special programs we think you may enjoy. NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE TO THE POLICY AND CONSENT By using our Web site, you consent to the collection and use of the information included in this document. The Agency reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this statement at any time. If we change our any portion of this document, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of the information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it. You should check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Sites following the posting of changes to this policy will mean that you accept those changes. NATIONAL PARK SERVICE – FEES AND SECURITY Each adult ticket includes a $3 National Park entrance fee. Entrance fees are used for the operation of National Parks. Bearers of the following passes are charged at the National Park Passport prices: National Park, Golden Age, Golden Access and the Annual Park Pass. Visitors must present their National Park pass at time of check-in. The National Park Entrance fee portion of the ticket purchase will be refunded to the credit card charged within 24 hours of the date of visit. Ticket prices are subject to change. As a Fee Demonstration Area authorized by Congress, 80% of all entrance and user fees collected at Jefferson National Expansion Memorial are retained by the park. The remaining 20% of funds are made available for use by all other National Parks. These funds are used for the preservation and maintenance of historic and natural resources, as well as for improved visitor services. The Agency is authorized to collect entrance and user fees on behalf of the National Park Service. Transaction fees charged for other services are at the discretion of Bi-State Development Agency. Visitors to the Gateway Arch are subject to search and to screening by magnetometer and x-ray equipment. Film less than 1600 ASA will not be harmed. Videotape will not be affected. OWNERSHIP AND USAGE RIGHTS All images, text, programs and other materials posted on the Sites are subject to copyrights owned by the Agency and are protected by United States copyright laws. Any reproductions, retransmission, distribution or reproduction of all or part of any images, text, programs and other materials found on the Sites is expressly prohibited, unless the Agency has expressly granted its prior written permission. The Agency neither warrants nor represents that your use of materials displayed on the Sites will not infringe rights of third parties. All other rights are reserved. The use of any images on the Sites is prohibited. The names, trademarks, service marks and logos of the Agency appearing on the Sites may not be used in any advertising or publicity without the Agency's prior written permission. A user may not use any intellectual property displayed on the Sites without the written consent of the Agency or such third party that may own the intellectual property displayed on the Sites. Any communication or material transmitted to the Sites by a user via electronic mail or otherwise is nonconfidental and non-proprietary. The Agency may use any information contained in any communication by a user to the Sites for any purpose whatsoever. RESTRICTION OF LIABILITY The Agency makes no warranties or representations as to the accuracy of the information on the Sites. The Agency assumes no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the content of the Sites. The Agency provides information and services on the Internet for the benefit of users. Users may utilize the Sites, solely at their own risk, only for informational and non-commercial purposes. The Agency [and any other party involved in the creating, producing, or delivering of the Sites] is not liable for any damages arising out of the use of the Sites, or any damage to, or viruses that may infect a user's computer equipment or other property on account of access to, use of, or browsing of the Sites or the downloading of any materials, data, text images, video, or audio from the Sites.
