ALERT: The Gateway Arch Ticketing & Visitor Center has relocated to the Old Courthouse at 11 N. 4th Street. The walking distance between the Old Courthouse and the Arch entrance at the SOUTH leg is approximately 0.3 miles (7 minutes of average walking time). EACH guest planning to enter the Gateway Arch will be required to have EITHER a Journey to the Top ticket or an Arch Entry-Only ticket to be allowed access to the facility.  Tram tickets will sell out early and often - advance tickets are strongly recommended.

Please Note: The Museum of Westward Expansion, located under the Gateway Arch is closed for significant renovations. Certain artifacts from the Museum are on display in exhibit galleries at the Old Courthouse.

WHAT: The Gateway Arch Riverboats—the Becky Thatcher and Tom Sawyer—kick off the 2015 cruise season with a plethora of voyages that suit any fancy.


  • Daily One-Hour Sightseeing Cruise: Journey to a time when steamboats ruled the Mississippi River. Narrated by the boat captain or a National Park Service ranger, this one-hour cruise explores the history of downtown St. Louis landmarks and architecture, and the role the working river plays today. Call for availability. $18/adults; $8/kids 3-15; children under 3 are free. Save up to $3 with the Captain’s Combo, which includes a One-Hour Sightseeing Cruise ticket and a Journey to the Top tram ride at the Gateway Arch.


  • Skyline Dinner Cruise: Every Friday & Saturday beginning in April Enjoy a memorable night out with live jazz music and dine alongside the best view of St. Louis. This two-hour dinner cruise includes the illuminated view of downtown St. Louis, and a delicious buffet meal including a carving station, chicken breast, roasted potatoes, pasta Romano, fruit and vegetables, and dessert. $46/adults; $20/kids 3-12; children under age 3 are free.

RIVERSIDE EATS: Guests can enjoy hot food, such as fried catfish, toasted ravioli and funnel cake fries, at the ArchView Café located on the dock of the riverboats. The café opens in April for the 2015 season (weekends in April; daily beginning in May.)
