Whether it’s with a virtual concert or parade, a visit to a local museum or a Tram Ride to the Top of the Gateway Arch, there are several in-person and at-home programs happening throughout St. Louis to honor veterans this Veterans Day, November 11.

The Soldiers Memorial Military Museum and the City of St. Louis have honored veterans with a downtown parade and ceremony at Soldiers Memorial for the past 36 years. Although the events can’t happen in person this year, the festivities will go on with a virtual parade that celebrates the brave individuals who have protected our freedoms.
In addition, guests who would like to visit Soldiers Memorial Military Museum can reserve free timed tickets online.
Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk
November 7 – 21
The St. Patrick Center’s Veterans Day 5K race is going virtual! A virtual race is one in which participants can run or walk from any location of their choosing – on the road, in a park, on a trail or on a treadmill – and time themselves. With proceeds going to the St. Patrick Center, which offers comprehensive housing, employment and other support services for veterans struggling with poverty, homelessness and behavioral health issues, this virtual race aims to honor our nation’s heroes and end veteran homelessness. Register online by November 7 and run/walk and report your results for one mile, a 5K or a half marathon by November 21.
