Give thanksThe Gateway Arch is offering extended hours this holiday weekend! Celebrate tradition and local history by bringing your loved ones to the Arch & Old Courthouse for activities the whole family can enjoy. Read on below, and have a happy Thanksgiving!
Holiday Hours
The Gateway Arch and Old Courthouse will be closed on Thanksgiving, November 26.
The Gateway Arch Visitor Center will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. November 27 and 28.
The Old Courthouse, including the gift shop, will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. November 27 and 28.
Journey to the Top
Hosting family members in town who have never been to the top of the Arch? What a perfect time to give them the true St. Louis experiencea 630-foot birds-eye view of the city! With the mighty Mississippi River to the east and the beautiful St. Louis skyline (not to mention, a stunning perspective of Busch Stadium) to the west, it’s the most breathtaking view in St. Louis.

Monument to the Dream
The award-winning documentary detailing how the Arch was completed, from the very beginning to the final piece being inserted at the top, will show every 45 minutes in the Tucker Theater at the Arch Visitor Center. Learn about all aspects of the monument’s development, including architect Eero Saarinen’s role in designing the tallest man-made monument in the United States.
Admission is included in the Journey to the Top of the Arch Tram Ride Ticket or Arch Entry-Only Ticket*
Old Courthouse: Dred Scott Mock Trial
At 2 p.m. each day in the Old Courthouse’s restored courtroom, visitors can participate in a 30-minute mock trial of the Dred Scott case, the most famous trial in the history of the Old Courthouse! Play the role of a judge, bailiff, layer or jury member in the controversial decision that preceded the American Civil War.

Old Courthouse Galleries
Learn about the Plains Indians and westward pioneers in the exhibit galleries and rotunda from rangers and through interactive programsand don’t forget to explore the free exhibits focusing on early St. Louis and Lewis & Clark’s Corps of Discovery expedition!

Shopping
Shop for memorobila and more in the Arch Museum Store and Levee Mercantile, both located in the Gateway Arch lobby, as well as the gift shop in the Old Courthouse!
Ticketing
*Timed tickets are required to enter the Arch facility. Arch “Entry-only” tickets ($3/adults, free/kids ages 3-15) includes entrance to the Arch Visitor Center and the Monument to the Dream movie. Journey to the Top tickets ($10/adults, $5/kids ages 3-15) includes entrance to the Arch Visitor Center, tram ride to the top of the Gateway Arch, and the Monument to the Dream movie. Tickets can be purchased at the Old Courthouse, online at http://ticketsforthearch.com, or by calling 877-982-1410. Due to the likelihood that tickets will sell out, visitors are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance.
Entrance to the Old Courthouse and its museum galleries are free.
Parking
A variety of parking locations are available within walking distance to the Arch and the Old Courthouse. A list of preferred downtown parking locations is available at http://getaroundstl.com/attractions/parking. Metered street parking is available around the Old Courthouse.
Visitors are encouraged to check www.gatewayarch.com/directions for up-to-date information on road detours and construction surrounding the Arch grounds before their visit.
