  • Advanced Reservations: The Tram Ride to the Top is SOLD OUT for advanced reservations through Saturday June 10, 2023. Same day tickets may be available at 9 am from the Gateway Arch ticket center, online, or via the Gateway Arch call center (877-982-1410).

  • Visiting the Gateway Arch: Enter the monument through the Gateway Arch Visitor Center, which faces Fourth Street and the Old Courthouse. The Gateway Arch legs are exits only. Please allow at least 30 minutes to go through security.

Veteran Speaker: Eric Maddox

Honoring Those Who Served

In honor of Veterans Day, the Gateway Arch Park Foundation will host a special speaker event in the Tram Lobby of the newly renovated Gateway Arch. Former Army Staff Sgt. Eric Maddox will talk about his role in the capture of Saddam Hussein, in December 2003. Maddox used non-violent interrogation methods to discover Saddam’s whereabouts by closing in on Saddam’s inner circle of bodyguards. This is a free event, and the public is invited to hear Maddox’s exciting story and inspirational speech on November 9 at 9:30 a.m. The Veteran Speaker Event is sponsored by Edward Jones and Boeing.
