Visitors must enter the monument through the new west entrance, which faces Fourth Street and the Old Courthouse. The Gateway Arch legs have become exits only. Tram tickets will sell out early and often - advance tickets are strongly recommended. Please allow at least 30 minutes to go through security.

Private Events at the Gateway Arch
and Old Courthouse

The Gateway Arch and Old Courthouse provide stunning and historic venues for private events of all kinds. The Old Courthouse is available for private events through May 2018 then year-round beginning July 2018. Private events will once again be available at the Gateway Arch beginning Fall 2018 then September through May going forward. Unaccompanied Minor Tram Policy: Any unaccompanied tram rider who presents a child’s ticket must have an adult, at least 18 years of age, with them to provide permission to ride alone. Children under the age of 10 may not ride unaccompanied.
