According to the CDC, St. Louis City and St. Louis County are at the High (Red) level due to increased cases of COVID-19. Following guidance from the National Park Service, the mandatory mask mandate is effective Monday, June 6 regardless of vaccination status for anyone entering federal buildings. Face coverings are available to visitors at the Arch Information Desk free of charge.

Gateway Arch visitors must enter the monument through the new west entrance, which faces Fourth Street and the Old Courthouse. The Gateway Arch legs have become exits only. Please allow at least 30 minutes to go through security.
