Oh Say Can You See… Me?! Celebrate July 4th at My Place!

America’s turning 249, and my national park right here on the riverfront is a great place to celebrate! From St. Louis Riverfront Cruises to helicopter views and plenty of patriotic fun on the grounds, I can’t wait to welcome you and all my friends for the big day.

But listen—before you put on your stars-and-stripes outfit and head downtown, let’s talk travel.

Getting Here on July 3^rd & 4^th: Take It From Me—Ride MetroLink!

Due to road closures and limited parking downtown for the Celebrate St. Louis festivities, I highly recommend taking MetroLink to visit me this Independence Day. Trust me, it’s the smoothest way to cruise past the traffic and get straight to the good stuff—like my museum, tram rides, riverfront cruises, and sky-high selfies. I’ve included a handy map below to guide you along the best walking route through the park grounds. It’s a beautiful stroll, and it’ll bring you right to my doorstep. (I love a dramatic entrance.)

Hop off at the Laclede’s Landing MetroLink Station, and you’re just a short walk away from me!

Pro Tips for a Smooth Celebration:

Pre-purchase your transit pass before you head out to save time at the station.

Arrive at least an hour early for your first ticketed activity—whether it’s the Tram Ride to the Top, Riverboat Cruise, or a spin above the Arch on a Helicopter Tour. Big crowds and extra security checkpoints mean you’ll want that extra time to get settled and not miss a moment of fun.

Pack smart! Bring sunscreen, a hat, and comfy shoes. You’ll be doing some walking, and the July sunshine loves to show off down here.

Accessibility Note: If the river levels are high enough, the Riverboat Cruises and Helicopter Tours may not be wheelchair accessible.
