In a sunset stroll, a Park Ranger will discuss the history of St. Louis, and how Gateway Arch National Park came to be.  If skies are at least somewhat clear, telescope viewing will take place on the Entrance Plaza afterwards, led by the Park and volunteers from the St. Louis Astronomical Society until 10 pm.

The walk will begin outside the Gateway Arch visitor center entrance at 7 pm.

This event may be cancelled in the event of rain. Check Gateway Arch National Park on social media and its events page for updates.

If you can’t make it this time, there are future events scheduled for June 7, July 5, August 2, September 27, and October 25.  A guest speaker or Park Ranger led talk will precede free telescope viewing at the Gateway Arch entrance plaza.
