2026 Holiday Happenings Return to the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch

ST. LOUIS (Nov. 2, 2026) — Deck the decks! The Riverboats at the Gateway Arch are setting sail into a winter wonderland this season, bringing a jolly lineup of seasonal festivities to the Mississippi riverfront. From merry morning moments with Santa to St. Louis’ only floating holiday pop-up bar, guests of all ages can spark new holiday traditions and celebrate the season on the water. Tickets are on sale now for PJ’s and Pancakes with Santa, Caroling with Santa, Noon Year’s Eve and The Floating Sleigh.
“There’s a unique kind of magic on the riverfront during the holidays, and we love being a part of St. Louis’ seasonal celebrations,” said Amber Barbeau, director of the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch. “Whether you’re starting a sweet morning tradition with the kids or stepping aboard for a cozy, festive night out under the city lights, the riverboats offer a one-of-a-kind backdrop to make unforgettable holiday memories together.”
PJ’s and Pancakes with Santa
Santa Claus is making a splash in St. Louis! This holiday season, bring the whole family to experience a magical morning filled with a delicious breakfast, crafts and photos with Santa—all while in your coziest PJ’s.
- WHEN: Dec. 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20, 2026 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
- COST: $45/person. Children 2 and under are free. Infants boarding this cruise must have a ticket.
Caroling with Santa
Caroling with Santa is back! Gather the family for a jolly afternoon cruise, where Santa will lead everyone caroling to all your favorite holiday tunes. Bundle up and cruise along with complimentary hot cocoa and a shareable festive treat. Professional photos with Santa, a cash bar and concessions will be available for additional purchase.
- WHEN: Dec. 2, 5, 6, 9, 12, 13, 19 and 20, 2026 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
- COST: $29/person. Children 2 and under are free. Infants boarding this cruise must have a ticket.
The Floating Sleigh
Don’t miss St. Louis’ first and only holiday pop-up bar on the Mississippi riverfront! The Tom Sawyer will be “decked out” from bow to stern in shimmering garlands and thousands of twinkling lights. This isn’t just a decorated bar—it’s an unforgettable, adults-only floating holiday experience. The riverboat will remain docked and will not cruise during this event. Guests are welcome to come and go as they please. can be purchased online or at the door. Must be 21+ to attend.
- HOURS: Select dates throughout the month of December 2026
- Thursdays: 5-10 p.m. (CLOSED on Dec. 24, 2026)
- Fridays: 5 p.m. – midnight (CLOSED on Dec 25, 2026)
- Saturdays, Dec 19 and Dec 26, 2026: 5 p.m. – midnight
- Sundays: 5-10 p.m.
- COST: $10/person
Noon Year’s Eve Cruise
Three, two, one … Happy NOON Year! Who says you have to stay up until midnight to ring in the new year? Bring the whole family aboard for a floating New Year’s Eve party on the Mississippi. Enjoy a festive buffet, live magic, party favors and plenty of fun as we count down to NOON with cupcakes and a sparkling cider toast. This cruise has all the excitement of New Year’s Eve, without staying up past bedtime!
- WHEN: Thursday, Dec. 31, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- COST: $45/person
