Riverboats at the Gateway Arch Announce 2025 Season Opening

First cruise of the 2025 season sets sail Thursday, March 6.
ST. LOUIS (March 3, 2025) — It’s time to set sail! The Riverboats at the Gateway Arch officially opens for the 2025 season on Thursday, March 6, with daily St. Louis Riverfront Cruises, specialty cruises and so much more.
Returning this season are crowd-favorite cruises including the Blues Cruise, the Decked Out Divas Cruise, the Brunch Cruise and the Groove & Spin Cruise. The popular Skyline Dinner Cruise returns on Friday, March 21. The Paddlewheel Café, St. Louis’ only waterfront dining destination, opens to the public on Friday, April 4. Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the café features many delicious food options. In addition, Thursday happy hours will return in May.

St. Louis Riverfront Cruise (daily)Relive the days when steamboats ruled the river on this one-hour cruise along St. Louis’ diverse riverfront. Narrated by the captain, these cruises highlight the Mississippi River’s important role in St. Louis’ history and the significance of the working river today.
COST: $26/adults; $16/kids 3-15; $24/seniors (ages 60+); kids under age 3 are free.
NPS Ranger-Led Cruise (Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30 p.m.)
A National Park Service Ranger leads narration aboard select St. Louis Riverfront Cruises, teaching visitors about river travel, historic St. Louis, invasive species and more. More cruise times will be added after Memorial Day. Ask about the Riverboat Explorer Junior Ranger Program, which invites young explorers to earn their Junior Ranger badge by completing an activity book and presenting it to the Park Ranger on board at the end of their cruise. COST: $26/adults; $16/kids 3-15; $24/seniors (ages 60+); kids under age 3 are free.
Ag Coast of America Cruise (first Wednesday of every month)
Learn how the St. Louis region lies at the heart of America’s inland Marine Highway system, as the narration for this one-hour cruise focuses on the transportation of freight up and down the Mississippi River.
COST: $26/adults; $16/kids 3-15; $24/seniors (ages 60+); kids under age 3 are free.
MO History Riverboat Takeover Cruise (Thursdays)
Amanda Clark, manager of community tours and the See STL tour program with the Missouri Historical Society will lead an engaging, conversational tour aboard select Riverfront Cruises.

Skyline Dinner Cruise (dates vary)
Make any night special! Featuring a chef-inspired menu, captivating views of St. Louis and live music or a DJ, this two-hour cruise is perfect for celebrating a special occasion, enjoying a romantic night out or just relaxing on the water. Take a stroll around the top deck to see the city from new angles as it lights up the night sky.
COST: $64/adults; $28/kids 3-12; kids under age 3 are free.
VISITOR REMINDERS
Detour Information: Accessing the St. Louis Riverfront
Vehicle access to and from the St. Louis Riverfront will be detoured for construction work at Chouteau Avenue and Leonor K. Sullivan Boulevard (LKS). For inbound access starting at Chouteau and 2nd Street, vehicles must turn left at 2nd Street and proceed approximately five blocks to Poplar Street. At Poplar Street, vehicles must turn right and proceed approximately two blocks to LKS. Access to riverfront parking remains at LKS and Poplar. Find more details and a map here.
Location and Parking: The Riverboats at the Gateway Arch are located below the south leg of the Gateway Arch at 50 S. Leonor K. Sullivan Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63102.
