Riverboats at the Gateway Arch
Riverboats Server – $16 per hour
Food, fun, and the Mississippi! We’re hiring servers to join the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch. Work as part of a great team, serve delicious food, and keep the good vibes flowing—onboard and at the Paddlewheel Café.
Riverboats Ticket Sales Agent – $17 per hour
Your office has river views! Be a Ticket Sales Agent for the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch. Help guests get their tickets, shop, or grab snacks—and enjoy being part of our daily cruises!
Riverboats Bartender – $16 per hour
Shake things up on the Mississippi! We’re hiring bartenders for the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch. Serve drinks with a view, whether we’re cruising under the stars or hosting dockside events. If you’re energetic, guest-focused, and ready to make waves, we want you!
Riverboats Cruise Coordinator – $19.50 per hour
Set sail on your next career! We’re looking for a Cruise Coordinator to oversee guest comfort and experiences aboard the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch. If you’re ready for a leadership role with riverfront views, climb aboard!
Riverboats Deckhand – $17.75 per hour
Crew the Mississippi! The Gateway Arch Riverboats seek reliable Deckhands to join our team. Help ensure safe and memorable cruises for our guests while working on the mighty Mississippi. This vital role is part of our U.S. Coast Guard-required crew.
Riverboat Captain (Part-time) – $32.19 per hour
You’re the Captain now! The Gateway Arch Riverboats are hiring Captains who can create unforgettable experiences for our passengers. Safely operate our vessels, engage with guests, and bring the river to life with captivating narrations. Adherence to regulations and company policies is essential while operating the vessel.
Riverboats Galley Dishwasher – $16.25 per hour
Behind every great meal is a clean galley! Join the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch as a Dishwasher, keeping dishes sanitized and organized while supporting unforgettable guest experiences.
Riverboats Prep Cook – $16.75 per hour
Chop, prep, and make waves! Join the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch as a Prep Cook. Help create delicious meals for guests while keeping the kitchen shipshape!
Riverboats Line Cook – $17.25 per hour
Where great meals meet great views! Be a Line Cook for the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch. Cook up delicious food, keep the kitchen shipshape, and be part of something special on the Mississippi.

Bi-State Development Employees at the Gateway Arch & Riverboats at the Gateway Arch are eligible for a variety of benefits for our available part-time and seasonal jobs in St. Louis. Current employee benefits are included below.
$500 Hiring Incentive
New employees are eligible for a $500 hiring incentive. To qualify, the employee must be in good standing and maintain an average of 15.5 hours per week.
Free Metro Transportation
New employees at the Gateway Arch and Riverboats are eligible for free rides on any MetroBus or MetroLink train. A free Metro Transit pass will be given after completing the hiring process.
Free Local Parking
Free parking is available to all Bi-State Development Gateway Arch and Riverboats employees throughout the 2026 calendar year.
