Gateway Arch Girl Scouts Programs

We welcome all Daisy Scouts, Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes to Gateway Arch National Park! Reservations are taken year round. These free programs are approximately 50 minutes in length, each highlighting a different, age-appropriate theme.

A one-month advance reservation is required. Programs are available Tuesday – Sunday. Minimum of six scouts required (max 30). Groups with less than the minimum may be placed with another group, if available.

Daisies

Courageous and Strong
Come discover how girls from the past used their strength and courage. Inside the Museum under the Gateway Arch, Girl Scouts will explore what girl power looks like past and present.

Brownies

My Family Story
Stories can help us learn where we came from and who we are. Girl Scouts will explore stories from long ago while taking a closer look at their own family story.

Juniors

Playing the Past
Women made important contributions to a growing nation throughout the 19th century. Girl Scouts will learn from the lives of women and girls within in the Museum under the Gateway Arch.

Cadettes

Public Speaker
Speaking in public is a powerful way to connect with people. Girl Scouts will learn the skills of public speaking and perform for the group.

Girl Scout Ranger Patch

To earn a Girl Scout Ranger patch complete at least 10 hours of organized educational activities or volunteer service projects at one or more national parks.

Qualifying activities include:

Ranger-guided tours
Junior Ranger programs
Other official NPS education programs, such as ranger-led hikes and campfire programs

Track your hours using the Girl Scout Ranger activity tracking sheet. Submit your completed sheet to an NPS Ranger at your final park or email it to them.

To earn a Girl Scout Ranger certificate, complete a minimum of 5 hours of educational activities and/or volunteer service. Then download your Girl Scout Ranger Certificate of Completion.
