Riverboat Jobs

Our riverboat staff enjoy some of the best views of St. Louis’ working riverfront as well as the Gateway Arch. If you love the Mississippi River, having fun, and working with the best team – take a look at our available positions below and apply today!

New BSD employees are eligible for a $500 hiring incentive! To qualify, employee must be on time for all shifts and maintain 15.5 hours per week. Employees receive $150 on first and second paychecks and $200 on their third paycheck (payment dates may vary depending on start date).

Work on the River

Servers - $14.70/hr

Our servers work in a fun and energetic environment while serving delicious food to guests on our cruises and at the Paddlewheel Café!

Have you ever wanted to help dock one of our Riverboats? Our deckhands get to assist with docking and other operations of the Becky Thatcher and Tom Sawyer.

Ticket Sales Agent - $15/hr

Ticket sales agents help our visitors plan their experiences on our cruises and pick out the perfect item at our gift shop. They engage guests in a warm, genuine, and friendly manner.

Our cruise coordinators help our visitors feel comfortable as they navigate up and down the Mississippi River. This is a supervisory position for individuals who seek a fun career on the water!

Riverboat Captain - $25.45/hr

Our riverboat captains take the helm and navigate the Mississippi River to provide and enjoyable experience for our guests. They operate in compliance with all U.S. Coast Guard regulations.
